What will you do here:
learn how to sharpen and use a machete
learn simple natural herbal medicine (what to do for a wound)
make bamboo spoons, chopsticks, straw as souvenir for yourself or friends
Simple introduction about Earth Oven and how to construct it (theory)
prepare pizza and bread dough, start fire in an earth oven, prepare pizza ingredients (vegan) and bake pizza and bread in earth oven, prepare vegan cheese ( from organic seeds or nuts harvested from our farm)
Farm meals (optional, join our kitchen chef to learn more on cooking
Schedule:
1. First day
Arrival day (Enjoy normal farm routine or rest if you come earlier)
7pm prepare pizza and bread dough
2. Second day
7am breakfast
8am prepare pizza ingredients and cheese, start fire in earth oven
10pm bake pizza and bread
12pm lunch and rest
2.30pm make bamboo spoon, chopsticks, straw
6pm dinner and rest
3. Third day morning
6am Departure, or stay as normal volunteer
We open our family farm for everyone who want to join us in a permaculture organic environment and experience simple living in natural buildings. Learn how to start a fire, use fire wood to cook meals, make your own bamboo spoon, bamboo chopsticks and bamboo straws. Eat from coconut bowls with our international volunteers and local Thais. In fact, we love the pizza party, that is why we love to share this unforgettable experience with you.

If you want to stay as normal volunteer before or after the cooking class, you are welcome to do so, by contributing 200baht per night including food and accommodations, please visit our website to know more about our volunteers.

If Sahainan Permaculture Organic Farm has to cancel the course, the paid 1600 Baht will be fully refunded (except the bank transfer or other charges). In case a participant cancels his or her participation in the course, the fee can not be refunded.
Our courses fill up fast so please save your space once you have decided.
We also encourage youto stay in our farm for few more days as normal volunteer after the pizza event to optimize your experience and learning.
