“Unforgettable Earthen Memories”
Location: Sahainan Permaculture Organic Farm, Thung Chang, Nan, Thailand
Stay with us in a permaculture organic farm and experience simple living in natural buildings. Learn how to start a fire, use fire wood to cook meals, make your own bamboo spoon, bamboo chopsticks and bamboo straws. Eat from coconut bowls with our international volunteers and local Thais. In fact, our earth oven activity are very often requested by our volunteers and students. We love making pizza with the materials we have, we love eating pozza, and we love having pizza party! We can share with you how we made our oven and of course, you can make your own! Are you ready?
What will you do here:
prepare pizza dough, start fire in an earth oven, prepare pizza ingredients (vegan) and bake pizzas in earth oven (mud oven)
Farm meals (optional, join our kitchen chef to learn more on cooking)
make bamboo spoons, chopsticks, and straw.
Schedule:
First day
Arrival day (Enjoy normal farm routine if you come earlier)
2. Second day
8am breakfast
9am prepare pizza dough
10am make your own bamboo spoon, chopsticks, straw
12pm lunch and ciesta
2.30pm prepare pizza ingredients
3pm start fire in earth oven
4pm bake pizza
6pm dinner, sitting around fire, and rest
3. Third day morning
6am Departure, or stay as normal volunteer, or practice cooking in our kitchen with Chef
Energy exchange: 1200 Baht per person. Also Including meals, accommodation for two nights, round trip transportation from Thung Chang to our Farm. To sign up for our course, please email us your full name, home address, and why you want to attend the course. Also, to safe your space in the course, please pay your registration fee (600Baht) through bank transfer and then inform us. If we receive less than 600Baht deposit due to the transaction charging fee, you can pay this charging fee together with the rest of the course fee. The bank account information are as follow:

If Sahainan Permaculture Organic Farm have to cancel the course, the paid deposit of 600 Bath will be fully refunded. In case a participant cancels his or her participation in the course, the deposit of 600 Bath can not be refunded.
