จากประสบการณ์และการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับป่าในพื้นที่ของพวกเราสหายน่าน พบว่าไฟป่ามีผลกระทบอย่างยิ่งต่อสัตว์ป่า แหล่งน้ำ ป่า และวิถีชีวิตของพวกเรา โดยแนวโน้มของการเกิดไฟป่ามีทิศทางรุนแรงขึ้นในทุกปี พวกเราสหายน่านได้พยายามเป็นอย่างยิ่งเพื่อคิดค้นวิธีการต่างๆ ในการแก้ไขปัญหานี้
ปัจจุบันวิธีการที่พวกเราใช้ในการเพิ่มความชื้นให้ป่าคือการทำฝายชะลอน้ำในพื้นที่ และการทำแนวกันไฟนั้นพวกเราได้ปลูกกล้วยป่าซึ่งเป็นวิธีที่มีผลดีเป็นอย่างยิ่ง และวิธีการเหล่านี้นำมาซึ่งประโยชน์สำคัญที่เราคาดไม่ถึงคือการเพิ่มขึ้นของน้ำในลำห้วยที่เคยเหือดแห้งลงไปหลายสิบปีมาแล้ว ซึ่งยังความปีติยินดีอย่างยิ่งให้แก่พวกเรา เพราะพวกเราเชื่ออย่างหนึ่งว่าประวัติศาสตร์ไม่เคยโกหกและประวัติศาสตร์สอนเราให้เห็นว่า “มีแม่น้ำที่ไหนมีชีวิตที่นั่น”
ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมาเราได้ใช้ทั้งทุนส่วนตัวและทุนช่วยเหลือจากเครือข่ายสหายของพวกเรา
ในการหาเงินทุนนั้นมีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างยิ่ง มิใช่เพียงเพื่อประโยชน์ในวันนี้หรือพรุ่งนี้ แต่เพื่อค้ำจุนป่าและวิถีชีวิตแห่งป่า ที่จะยังประโยชน์ให้แก่ลูกหลานของเราและโลกใบนี้อีกมากมาย
พวกเราสหายขอประชาสัมพันธ์และขอรับการสนับสนุนจากพวกท่าน ในการจัดแพ็คเก็จกิจกรรมในพื้นที่ของเราครั้งนี้ โดยกิจกรรมทั้งหมดเกี่ยวพันกับวิถีชีวิตแห่งป่า ศิลปะและดนตรี ซึ่งเป็นภาษาสากลที่ชนทุกชาติเข้าใจกันเป็นอย่างดี
กิจกรรมทั้งหมดมีดังนี้
- งานอีโค่ปริ้นท์จะได้รับผ้าที่ปริ้นท์แล้วคนละผืน บมใบอาร์ต
- งานศิลปะวาดรูปบนผืนผ้าด้วยขี้ผึ้งย้อมสีธรรมชาติ โดยสล่าคำมินทร์
- เดินป่าศึกษาธรรมชาติจากป่าที่เราสร้างความชุ่มชื้นและชมน้ำตกที่เกิดจากการเพิ่มปริมาณของน้ำ โดยสันโดษ
- ร่วมปลูกกล้วยป่าและทำฝายชลอน้ำ
- การฝังเข็มและครอบแก้วจากสหายเชาว์ สหายของพวกเรา
- รับประทานอาหารจากสวนเพอร์มาคัลเจอร์ของเรา
- กาแฟธรรมชาติจากมิสเตอร์ที สหายหมาป่า
ลานกางเต้นท์ฟรีโดยนำอุปกรณ์มาเอง
- กลางคืน ดนตรีแจ๊ซและบลูส์กลางไพร
กิจกรรมทั้งหมดใช้เวลา ครึ่งวันกับหนึ่งคืน ณ ไร่สหายน่าน

Join us in the rhythm of nature at our Jungle Jazz Festival, where music meets conservation!

Music, art, delicious food, and nature walks
From our experience and studies of the forests in our region, we've realized the profound impact wildfires have on wildlife, water sources, forests, and our way of life. With wildfires becoming increasingly severe each year, we've dedicated ourselves to finding innovative solutions to this pressing issue.
Currently, our efforts include implementing moisture-retaining mulching techniques and planting wild bananas to restore the balance of our forests. These initiatives have unexpectedly led to a significant increase in water levels in streams that had been dry for decades. This realization has filled us with joy, reaffirming our belief that history never lies, and it teaches us that 'where there is life, there is water.'
Over time, we've utilized both personal funds and support from our network of allies to sustain our cause. Fundraising is crucial, not just for immediate benefits but to support the forests and the way of life they sustain, ensuring a better future for our children and the planet.
We invite you to be part of our cause and support us by joining our upcoming event. This festival will be a celebration of forest life, art, and music, a universal language understood by all nations.
Activities include:
Eco-printing workshops, creating unique fabric art pieces.
Natural dye painting on fabric with bee's wax by Sallacarm Mintra.
Guided nature walks through our rejuvenated forest area and waterfalls.
Participation in planting wild bananas and mulching.
Needle felting and glass cover making by our community members.
Dining experience with produce from our very own Permaculture garden.
Enjoying natural coffee from Mister T, the wild dog ally.
Free tent camping space, bring your own equipment.
Evening Jungle Jazz and Blues music session.
All activities span half a day and one night at Sahainan Farm, from March 9th, 2024, until morning coffee on March 10th, 2024.
